George Eastman, founder of Eastman Kodak Company, was born July 12th, 1854. He was the youngest of 3 children. Eastman brought his first photographic outfit at the age of 24. He though the whole process was extremely complicated and sought to simplify the method of taking and developing photographs. He invented many cameras and types of film. In 1888 George Eastman introduced the first simple camera to the world of consumers with the slogan “you press the button, we do the rest”. This made taking pictures accessible to nearly everyone. The most popular camera is the first Kodak Brownie, introduced in February 1900, which revolutionized the world of technology. George Eastman took his own life March 14th, 1932 after battling a progressive disability. He was 77 years old. Luckily his technology lives on. Kodak continues to expand the ways images touch people’s daily lives.
In 2007 Kodak introduced 4 new EasyShare digital photo frames that were available in sizes from 8 to 11 inches. These frames included multiple memory card slots and some of which included wi-fi capability to connect with the Kodak Gallery. Kodak is introducing more Easyshare digital photo frames. They include 2 new wireless, 2 new multimedia, and 2 new photo digital frames. Check them out!

![]() I have been putting memory books together for years! I have 45. I have to agree that they don’t get seen very often. I finish them, then display them on the coffee table for about a month then store them away in the hall closet. All that work and it hardly gets seen. I have so much fun making them, but it is very disappointing that no one gets to see them once I put them away. I must say I want to know more about the digital photo frames. They sound like a great idea. I have been looking and I think I really like the Kodak digital photo frame. Can you tell me more about brand? This is a great blog and I am happy I found it. Thanks for sharing. |
I put my favorite pictures in frames and put them on my walls so anyone that comes over can see them. The only problem with this is space.I have to pick and chose which ones I get to display. So again, a lot of great pictures never make it to the walls and no one gets to enjoy them! The first time a saw a digital photo frame was when I was checking out a site my friend told me about which was http://www.mydigitalviewer.com/ I plan on purchasing one next month. I can’t wait to try one out! |

![]() Does anyone ever have a big enough desk at work? Instead of a bunch of frames cluttering the top of your desk, getting dusty and frequently knocked over, why not invest in a portable picture viewer in the form of a digital photo frame for your desk at work? Show off your family, friends, pets, home, travel, and remind yourself why you’re at the office in the first place! |

I used to store my photos in boxes, then put them away with the hopes of someday doing something with them. They sat hidden away in boxes for years, then I found out about memory books. I love memory books, but once I get them finished I put the book away, never to be seen again.
